What Makes a Top-Notch LED Light Bulb?
The best LED light bulbs provide a high number of lumens (brightness) per watt. They produce lighting colors that are warm and inviting. Additionally, the color of objects that are illuminated by this light are close to how they would appear in natural daylight conditions. These LED light bulbs should meet or exceed the industry standard lifespan for LED lights and have a reasonable-length warranty.
Features: LED bulbs should provide at least 71 lumens per watt and have a lifespan of at least 25,000 hours. The LED light should also score high on the color rendering index (CRI) because it means that the color of objects will appear more natural. The closer the CRI is to 100, the better. Additionally, verify that the bulb is UL listed and complies with the FCC regulations.
Design: Most LED bulbs are a little taller than incandescent bulbs. They are also several ounces heavier. LED bulbs can't be exposed to large amounts of moisture and are heat sensitive.
